Main Structure of Explosion-Proof Distribution Boxes

The explosion-proof distribution box shell is made of ZL102 cast aluminum alloy or high-quality stainless steel plates welded to form a flameproof main chamber and a terminal chamber. The main chamber contains C65N and DZ47 series circuit breakers, operated via a mechanism and an external handle. Each circuit has "on" and "off" indicators, along with indicator lights. The terminal chamber has terminals connected to the main chamber, cable entry devices, and internal and external grounding screws.

Usage Instructions for Explosion-Proof Distribution Boxes

1. Based on the actual lighting needs of the worksite, determine the installation position and method of the luminaire. Then, prepare a three-core cable of the corresponding length according to the distance from the luminaire to the 220V power connection point (if using conduit wiring, thread the three-core cable through the conduit to the luminaire installation point).

2. First, remove the fixing screws on the terminal chamber and pull out the terminal part of the junction box. Take the sealing ring and connector (with set screws) from the packaging and slide them onto the cable. Then, connect one end of the three-core cable to the terminals marked "L," "N," and ground inside the box. Secure the cable with a cable clamp and fasten it with screws. Tighten the connector, compress the sealing ring, and tighten the set screw from the side.

3. Screw the components from step 2 into the conduit, lock them with set screws from the side, then install the lamp body along the guide rails of the junction box and tighten the screws on the panel.

4. Finally, connect the other end of the three-core cable to the 220V power supply as required by the explosion-proof distribution box.

5. When replacing the bulb, first cut off the power supply. Then, use a hex key to remove the set screws on the housing, unscrew the lamp cover about 6 turns with a large screwdriver or other tool, and carefully remove the lamp cover by hand. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one.

Functions and Applications of Explosion-Proof Distribution Boxes in Explosive Environments:

1. Containment-Type Explosion-Proof Distribution Box:

This is a relatively traditional explosion-proof form. It places conductive parts inside the housing and prevents the transmission of explosion products outward by increasing the joint surfaces of the explosion-proof distribution box housing.
