Thermal Paper 

Thermal paper is a type of processed paper manufactured by coating a base paper with a "thermal coating" (thermochromic layer). Calcium carbonate is commonly used as a filler in thermal coatings, accounting for up to 50% of the formulation, to increase the paper's opacity and enhance the contrast between the image and the background.
