Appearance: White solid or white crystalline. Density 3.46. Melting point 586°C, begins to sublime at 300°C. Evaporates at 600°C. Easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol. Strongly hygroscopic in air.
Uses: Used as a spectral pure and high-purity reagent. Dilute aqueous solution of indium trichloride sprayed on forage grass as a growth promoter for wool. Widely used in electronics industry, chemical industry, optical materials, metal surface treatment, and other fields.
