Preservative P113

BASF Glysacorr® p113 frostprotect, formerly known as Glysacorr® p113 frost protection, is an inhibitor concentrate with vapor phase corrosion inhibitors. When mixed with water to form a 50 vol% aqueous solution, BASF Glysacorr® p113 frostprotect is particularly suitable as a test bench coolant for new engines during the run-in phase before transportation or long-term storage. Whether through direct contact or vapor phase contact, it provides the coolant with significant corrosion inhibition properties for all metals and alloys in the engine structure. Applications of BASF Glysacorr® p113 frostprotect include: thermal test engine test benches, pressure testing, pump testing, and leak testing. It is not suitable for use as a long-life coolant due to its ammonia content.
