Compressive Strength and Drop Strength (Impact Strength) of Briquettes
I. Equipment Introduction::
The briquette drop tester is mainly used to test the drop performance indicators of briquettes, coal balls, coal bricks, coal sticks, honeycomb briquettes, etc. It tests the damage condition of briquettes upon falling and their impact resistance strength, including the edges and surfaces of the briquettes. Free drop tests can be conducted on the surfaces, corners, and edges of briquettes. A digital height display instrument and an encoder are used to achieve height tracking, thereby accurately providing the drop height of the goods, with an error not exceeding 2% or 10mm from the preset drop height.

II. Performance Indicators:
1. Drop a certain amount of briquette samples freely from a height of 2m onto a steel plate of specified thickness;
2. Drop the briquette blocks with a particle size exceeding 13mm among the fallen briquettes again;
After three drops in total, the product quality percentage of briquette blocks with a particle size exceeding 13mm after the third drop relative to the original briquette sample's product quality represents the drop strength of the briquettes.

IV. Test Method::
1. After each test, lower the drop arm to prevent the long-term reset drop arm from deforming the spring and affecting the test results. Before each drop, reset the motor and wait for it to stop rolling before pressing the drop button.
2. After the new briquette drop tester is installed at the factory, apply low-concentration engine oil to the sliding rod. Do not use anti-rust oil, high-concentration engine oil, or any corrosive oil.
3. If there is excessive dust at the oiling point over time, lower the machine to the bottom, wipe off the old oil, and then reapply oil.
4. The drop tester is an impact mechanical device. After more than 500 uses of a new machine, tighten all screws to prevent malfunctions.
5. The lift shaft and chain of the tester need to be lubricated regularly.
6. Change the oil in the gear reduction box quarterly.
7. Place the tester in a room-temperature environment with low humidity (below 80% without condensation) and minimal dust for testing.
8. To prevent accidents and electric shocks due to loss of control during operation, always disconnect the power before performing maintenance. Ensure the lift shaft is clean.
9. Unauthorized personnel are not allowed to operate the equipment.
