I. Product Introduction

The FIBC lifting and drop tester is primarily used to test flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs) with volumes between 0.5-2.3 m³ and load capacities between 500-3000 kg. Its main functions include performing 30 or 70 cycles of periodic lifting tests, setting load force values for pressure-holding tests, and conducting drop tests for FIBCs.

II. Features

III. Technical Parameters

10. 30-cycle test requirement: Load at a speed of 70±20 kN/min to 2 times the safe working load (test force), cycle 30 times, then perform one test at 5 times the safe working load (test force). The dwell time between each test must not exceed 30 s.

11. 70-cycle test requirement: Load at a speed of 70±20 kN/min to 4 times the safe working load (test force), cycle 70 times, then perform one test at 6 times the safe working load (test force). The dwell time between each test must not exceed 30 s.

IV. About the Tests

Full bag test method: Complies with GB/T10454-2000 "Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers"

1. Periodic lifting test:

Evenly fill the FIBC with contents to full load, hang a load equivalent to twice the maximum load. Perform 70 cycles for limited-use bags and 30 cycles for disposable bags, repeatedly lifting. The FIBC passes if there are no abnormalities in the contents or bag body, and no damage at the connections.

2. Pressurization test:

Place the fully loaded FIBC on a pressurization machine for testing. The pressure applied by the machine should be four times the full load weight of the FIBC, or use a static load method equivalent to the self-weight of four layers of fully loaded bags. The pressurization time should be eight hours or more. The FIBC passes if there is no spillage of contents and no damage to the bag body.

3. Vertical drop test:

Lift the fully loaded FIBC with lifting equipment so that the bottom of the bag is at least 0.8 m above the ground, then drop it vertically once onto a hard, flat surface. The FIBC passes if there is no spillage of contents and no damage to the bag body.

4. FIBC safety factor inspection: Top lifting test (bearing/rated load, 6x load, constant load time ≥5 min).
