I. Product Introduction

The coupler buffer static pressure testing machine is mainly used for performance testing of rubber products such as coupler buffers. This testing machine adopts electro-hydraulic servo control, using the cylinder piston to lift and lower to achieve compression deformation of the specimen, meeting the TB/T 1961-2006 "Locomotive and Vehicle Buffer" standard. The maximum test force is 3000 kN, with an adjustable piston speed of 0~6 mm/s. The machine has a compact structure, enables long-term high-precision load holding, and allows for setting complex compression test programs.

The working principle of the coupler buffer is to cushion by compressing elastic elements, while utilizing friction and damping to absorb impact energy during the deformation of the elastic elements. Rubber coupler buffers have nonlinear characteristics, enabling them to meet performance requirements under different impact speeds.


II. Functional Features

1. The testing machine main unit uses a microcomputer-controlled high-precision electro-hydraulic servo valve to drive a precision servo linear hydraulic cylinder, enabling automatic control in various modes such as constant rate test force, constant rate displacement, and constant rate deformation, meeting the assembly and static testing operations of buffers.

2. The equipment's hydraulic system allows for continuous adjustment of pressure and displacement, and, combined with the electrical control system, processes pressure, displacement, and various alarm signals through a programmable control system via various sensors to complete overall machine control.

3. The machine features multiple intelligent safety protections, including upper beam position limits, piston displacement limits, hydraulic system overpressure, electrical system overcurrent, load overload, and software operation errors.

IV. Static Pressure Test Method:

1. The buffer static pressure test uses a hydraulic testing device. The maximum pressure of the testing device should not be less than 2000 kN, the indenter stroke should be greater than 90 mm, and the compression speed should be adjustable between 5 mm/s and 50 mm/s.

2. The test environment temperature should be between 5°C and 25°C.

3. At least four sets of the same type of buffer from each batch should be sampled and placed in the laboratory for 24 hours before conducting the static pressure test.

4. During the test, follow the operating procedures of the testing equipment to compress the buffer at a speed not exceeding 50 mm/s to measure the static impedance force.

5. The test results of all four sets of buffers from the same batch should meet the requirements of point 6.

6. Requirements: Elastic glue buffers and hydraulic buffers, in addition to the above regulations, undergo static pressure testing. The static impedance force should not be less than 200 kN for passenger car buffers and rapid freight car buffers, and not less than 1200 kN for other buffers. Under this load, the buffer should not experience a bottoming-out phenomenon.
