The safety helmet impact tester simulates potential impact scenarios encountered in actual use to conduct penetration tests on safety helmets, verifying whether their penetration resistance meets safety standards.
Execution standard: GB/T 2812-2006 "Safety Helmet Test Methods".
Components of the safety helmet impact tester: It consists of a drop frame, steel cone, headform, guide rail, lifting and release mechanism, and other parts.
Drop frame: A frame that enables the steel cone to move along the guide rail for lifting, releasing, and directional impact on the helmet, meeting the drop height requirements specified for helmet penetration resistance tests. Its base is fixed to a concrete foundation.
Steel cone:
Hammerhead: R0.5+ 0.1mm, hammer angle 60°±30 minutes;
Material: T10 tool steel;
Mass: 3+ 0.05kg;
Hardness: Greater than 50 HRC;
Length: 45mm.
Headform: Complies with the specifications in Appendix A of GB/T 2812-2006.
Test method:
Precondition the safety helmet according to the test conditions corresponding to the maximum impact force on the headform from the impact absorption performance test results. Then, properly wear it on a suitable headform, fasten the chin strap, ensuring the helmet brim contacts the headform naturally and stably. Select the penetration test area within the specified test zone, and use the steel cone to freely and steadily drop from a height of 1m±0.01m (distance from the cone tip to the penetration test area) to impact the helmet. Repeat the test twice, with a minimum spacing of 75mm between the two test areas. After the test, observe whether the steel cone penetrates the helmet and makes contact with the headform.

1. Dual functionality: Automatic height positioning; after positioning, the drop hammer and cone can be directly interchanged with consistent height, enabling both impact resistance and penetration resistance tests for safety helmets.
2. Automatic lifting and lowering: Uses a stepper motor and reducer to drive the drop hammer device, achieving automatic lifting and lowering.
3. Touchscreen display: Enables historical data query, data calibration, height calibration, one-key drop hammer, and curve display functions.
4. Embedded high-speed processor: Captures 20K high-speed dynamic signals, automatically records, and locks the peak impact force.
5. High-precision dynamic load sensor: Ensures accurate pressure detection for impact tests and can be removed for individual calibration.
