An automated blasting room is an enclosed space where mechanical automation systems perform operations such as blasting, rust removal, cleaning, and strengthening. The core principles are:

1. Workpiece Conveyance: Workpieces are automatically transported to designated positions inside the blasting room via conveying equipment (such as roller conveyors, overhead chains, robotic grippers, etc.).

2. Blasting Operation: Automated blasting mechanisms (such as fixed nozzles, mobile nozzles driven by robotic arms, etc.) follow preset programs to propel abrasives (e.g., quartz sand, steel shot, etc.) via high-speed airflow (compressed air-driven) onto the workpiece surface. The impact force of the abrasives removes surface rust, scale, oil stains, etc., or achieves surface texturing and strengthening.

3. Abrasive Recovery and Recycling: After blasting, abrasives are collected by a recovery system at the bottom (such as screw conveyors, pneumatic recovery devices). They are then separated from impurities via separation equipment (screening, magnetic separation) and reintroduced into the blasting system for reuse.

4. Dust Removal and Purification: Dust generated inside the room is collected and filtered by a negative pressure dust removal system (e.g., baghouse dust collectors, cartridge dust collectors). Purified air is discharged meeting standards, ensuring a clean working environment.

Application Scope of Automated Blasting Rooms

• Automotive Manufacturing: Used for rust removal and descaling of components such as frames, chassis, and wheels to prepare for subsequent coating.

• Construction Machinery: Surface cleaning and strengthening of structural parts of large equipment like excavators and cranes to enhance fatigue resistance.

• Shipbuilding Industry: Treating surface rust on ship hull plates and cabin components to meet anti-corrosion coating requirements.

• Rail Transportation: Surface pretreatment for train carriages, rails, etc., to improve coating adhesion.

• Aerospace: Precision blasting of aircraft components (e.g., landing gear, fuselage frames) to remove burrs or strengthen surfaces.

• Metal Processing: Surface cleaning of various steel structural parts and castings to remove casting flashes, oxide layers, etc.
