Polyester geogrid is made from polyester fiber as the raw material. It adopts a warp-knitted oriented structure, where the warp and weft yarns in the fabric remain unbent relative to each other, and the intersection points are bound together with high-strength filament fibers, forming牢固的结合点 to exert their mechanical properties. Warp-knitted polyester geogrid features high tensile strength, low elongation, high tear resistance, minimal difference in longitudinal and transverse strength, resistance to UV aging, wear and corrosion, light weight, and strong interlocking force with soil or gravel. It plays a significant role in enhancing the shear resistance of soil, reinforcing it, and improving the overall integrity and load-bearing capacity of the soil.

Applications of polyester geogrid:
1. Warp-knitted polyester geogrid is used for reinforcing soft soil subgrades in various roads such as highways, railways, and municipal roads, effectively improving subgrade strength and delaying reflective cracking.
2. In hydraulic engineering, it is used for reinforcing and isolating embankments and river channels, strengthening soft soil foundations, enhancing their protective capacity, and improving the bearing capacity and stability of the foundation.
3. It is applied for reinforcing embankment slopes and retaining walls, enhancing overall strength, and reinforcing soft soil foundations in highways, railways, and water conservancy projects.
4. Used for railway ballast protection: Due to train vibrations and weather exposure, ballast loss occurs. Encasing the ballast with geogrid prevents loss and improves subgrade stability.
5. For railway retaining walls: Geogrid reinforces retaining walls along railways, such as platforms and freight docks within stations, extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.
6. For reinforced retaining walls: Adding geogrid next to highways and in vertical retaining walls increases the load-bearing capacity of the walls.
