The common lengths of flame-retardant impact bars are: 1220mm, 1400mm, 1500mm, and 1600mm. Custom non-standard lengths are also available based on customer requirements. During the production of impact bars, we pay attention to every detail of the product. At both ends of the impact bar, we have designed an inclined slope to allow the belt to pass through the impact bed more smoothly.
The wear-resistant surface layer of the impact bar is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) with a molecular weight of 5.3 million. Its tensile strength is 140 kgf/cm², impact strength is 60 kgf/cm², wear resistance is below 10 mg, and the friction coefficient is below 0.52.
The natural rubber thickness of the impact bars produced by Zhong'an Mining is 62.5mm, with a Shore hardness of 53 degrees, which can fully absorb the impact force of falling materials on the belt. The impact bar consists of high-quality rubber strips that organize the impact load.
The impact bar L=1220mm is used at the feed inlet of conveyors to replace traditional impact idlers. It absorbs high energy and reduces friction to mitigate the impact force of falling materials at the feed end.
Impact skid bars are an important component of impact beds. Conventional belt conveyor drop point protection devices are impact idlers. During production, the disadvantages of impact idlers become apparent. Firstly, the contact between impact idlers and the belt conveyor is point-to-surface contact, resulting in uneven force distribution. This not only fails to protect the belt conveyor but also causes more severe localized damage. Due to the large spacing between impact idlers, falling materials can easily get stuck between the idlers, causing them to stop rotating.
Impact skid bars, also known as impact rubber strips, are formed by vulcanizing ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) sheets onto natural rubber strips. Some manufacturers use cold adhesive bonding to connect the polyethylene sheet and rubber strip. Under the heavy impact of falling materials, such impact bars may experience debonding and cracking.
