Most villa basements are equipped with villa-type sewage lifters. Currently, in order to increase the usable area of most ordinary residences, real estate companies often design basements as well. As a result, it would be more appropriate to call them "household sewage lifters" or "domestic sewage lifters" rather than "villa sewage lifters."
Initially, basement drainage in China involved designing a cement and brick sump pit in the basement. Wastewater from toilets, bathrooms, and sinks was discharged into the sump pit through pipes on the same level. Two submersible pumps were installed in the pit, which is commonly referred to as the "one pit, two pumps" underground sewage drainage method. The dual pumps alternated to ensure drainage reliability. However, the biggest drawbacks of this method were the need for regular cleaning and the issue of foul odors. Basements typically have no windows, making it impossible to ventilate odors, which rendered the basement unusable. Additionally, regular cleaning was a fatal flaw of this drainage method. Later, with the introduction of sewage lifters from abroad, this "one pit, two pumps" method was gradually replaced by sewage lifters. The key features of these villa-type sewage lifters are odor-free operation and no need for cleaning. However, due to their small capacity, the frequent starting of the pump has made reliability a challenge. Most sewage lifters work by placing a single-phase pump in a small container, with the pump controlled by an air pressure switch. Wastewater from toilets, sinks, showers, and other sources flows into the sewage lifter tank, and the pump inside the lifter then lifts the sewage outdoors.

Applicable Conditions: 1) Lifting of ordinary domestic sewage and wastewater. For newly constructed buildings, construction debris in the sewage pipes must be cleared before use. 2) The pH range of sewage and wastewater should be between 4 and 10. 3) The temperature of sewage and wastewater should not exceed 40°C. 4) For oily wastewater from restaurants and kitchens, as well as hair-containing wastewater from bathrooms, oil separation and hair removal treatment are required before use. Principle Introduction: The fully automatic basement sewage discharge equipment mainly consists of a collection (sewage) tank, lift pumps, auxiliary drainage pumps, a control cabinet, and corresponding filters, pipes, valves, etc. The control cabinet is programmed for fully automatic operation, requiring no personnel on duty. Lift pumps 1 and 2 serve as backups for each other and operate in rotation. If the equipment malfunctions, the alarm system will automatically activate, with indicator lights flashing and an audible alarm to alert the personnel on duty.
