BENTONE SD-2 organic bentonite rheological additive is designed for medium to high polarity solvent coating systems.

Product Characteristics:

Composition: Organically modified bentonite

Appearance: Milky white fine soft powder

Density: 1.62g/cm³

Particle Size: ≤1μm

Application Fields: Acid-curing systems, anti-corrosion coatings, adhesives, automotive repair primer coatings, gravure printing inks, epoxy resin coatings, industrial coatings, two-component polyurethane coatings, paint strippers, high-build vinyl coatings

3. Excellent anti-sag and anti-settling properties

5. Provides excellent anti-sag properties without affecting flow and leveling

Usage Method:

1. Can be added at any stage of the production process

2. Can be used during pigment grinding without temperature restrictions

3. If used for post-adjustment during paint mixing, it is recommended to use pre-gel

Recommended Dosage: 0.2-1.0%, higher addition amounts are required for high-thickness systems.
