Cement brick carving culture stone mold silicone is a type of two-component condensation-type room-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, specifically designed as the preferred mold rubber for cement brick carving culture stones, sand-carved sandstone artworks, and large urban landscape sculptures.

It features excellent fluidity, good tensile strength, high tear resistance, low shrinkage rate, resistance to weak alkalis without whitening, and simple operation. It is used for brush-on and pour-in mold products, making it more suitable for replicating molds of various sizes and complex shapes of stones, gypsum, and cement pieces, as well as producing silicone molds for finely detailed products.

Operation Method for Liquid Silicone for Brick Carving Cement Mold Making:

1. Mix silicone and curing agent evenly. Component A is silicone, and Component B is the curing agent. Example: Take 100g of silicone and add 2g of curing agent (Note: The silicone and curing agent must be mixed thoroughly).

2. Vacuum degassing: After mixing the silicone and curing agent evenly, proceed to the vacuum degassing step. The vacuum time should not be too long; normally, it should not exceed 5 minutes. If the vacuum time is too long, the silicone will cure immediately, causing cross-linking reactions that turn the silicone into lumps, making it unusable for brushing or pouring, thus wasting the silicone.

3. Brushing or pouring process: Apply the degassed silicone by brushing or pouring onto the product (Note: Before applying the silicone, the product or model to be replicated must be coated with a release agent or separator). Then, brush the silicone evenly onto the product. After 30 minutes, apply a layer of gauze fiber cloth to enhance the silicone's strength and tensile properties. Then, apply another layer of silicone and another layer of gauze fiber cloth. Repeat this process twice. This method significantly extends the lifespan and number of mold replications, saving costs and improving efficiency.

4. Making the outer mold: Generally, the method involves surrounding the mold with plastic or wooden boards and filling the frame with gypsum. Alternatively, use a resin brushing method: brush a layer of resin and apply a layer of fiberglass cloth, repeating this process two or three times to complete the outer mold.

Pouring mold operation method: Pouring molds are used for smoother or simpler products without mold lines, saving time and labor. Surround the product or model to be replicated with plastic or glass boards, pour the degassed silicone directly onto the product, and after the silicone dries and sets, remove the product to complete the mold (Note: Pouring molds typically use softer silicone to facilitate demolding and avoid damaging the product inside the silicone mold).

Precautions for Operating Liquid Silicone for Brick Carving Cement Mold Making:

1. The amount of curing agent should be adjusted according to temperature; reduce the amount in higher temperatures. Excessive curing agent will make the silicone mold hard and brittle; insufficient curing agent will prolong the working time. Generally, add between 2% and 5%.

2. Allow the mold to cure for 24 hours before use.

3. To prevent changes in the physical properties of the mold silicone, it is recommended not to add silicone oil.

4. For large-sized products requiring segmented brushing molds, the outer hard mold can be made of gypsum or resin materials.
