- It shows the identification reaction of citrate (2) (General Rule 0301).

- Tests:

- Clarity and color of solution: Dissolve 2.0g in 10ml of water; the solution should be clear and colorless. If colored, it should not be deeper than the standard color solution of yellow No. 2 or yellow-green No. 2.

- Moisture: Water content is 7.5% to 9.0%.
