Usage Recommendations      

• Alkaline preservatives are widely used in alkaline cosmetics and detergents such as shampoos, conditioners, and shampoo pastes. They can be used to neutralize acidic substances in formulations, making the product perform better than other neutralizers. However, K99 Alkaline Preservative is not suitable for use in mixed products of sulfonic acid type, sulfonic acid type, and soap base type, nor in products containing iron ions or aldehyde-based fragrances, as it may alter the product's color. We recommend a usage concentration of 0.2% to 0.6%.
• K99 Alkaline Preservative is best added at temperatures ≤40°C.

Due to the wide variations in the composition and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of preservatives, we strongly recommend testing the efficacy and stability of K99 Alkaline Preservative before production.
