Characteristics and Efficacy

Usage Recommendations      

• Liquid composite preservative is recommended for use in rinse-off and leave-on personal care formulations at a concentration of 0.1~1.0%, with an applicable pH range of 3~8.
• This product is compatible with all components in cosmetics and is not affected by proteins, various surfactants, or active additives.
• Both Germaben II powder preservative and IPBC have excellent antimicrobial capabilities. SY-45 liquid composite preservative is mild, with low irritation, and can be used in infant skincare products.
• SY-45 liquid composite preservative should be added in the final step, into systems with a pH range of 3~8 and a temperature below 50°C.
• Due to the wide variation in ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of the preservative, we strongly recommend confirming the efficacy and stability of SY-45 liquid composite preservative before production.
