K99 Alkaline Preservative

Usage Recommendations      

• Alkaline preservatives are widely used in alkaline cosmetics and detergents such as shampoos, conditioners, and shampoo pastes. They can be used to neutralize acidic substances in formulations, making the product perform better than other neutralizers. However, K99 Alkaline Preservative is not suitable for use in mixed products of sulfonic acid type, sulfonic acid type, or soap base type, nor is it suitable for products containing iron ions or aldehyde-based fragrances, as it may alter the product's color. The recommended usage concentration is 0.2% to 0.6%.
• K99 Alkaline Preservative is best added at temperatures ≤40°C.
