K2000 (DMDMH)

• High-efficiency, low-cost bactericide

• Easy to use, soluble in water and lower alcohols, stable in both aqueous and oil phase emulsions

• Compatible with cationic, anionic, and nonionic surfactants, emulsifiers, and proteins
• Stable over a long period, wide pH range, and temperature range

• Recommended usage concentration is 0.2% to 0.6%, safe for use

Usage Recommendations      

• Due to its unique water solubility, it can be added to creams and rinse-off personal care formulations at a concentration of 0.2% to 0.6%.
• K2000 can be added at room temperature or at temperatures up to 80°C, but it may degrade if held at high temperatures for 6 hours. It is best added during the cooling phase.
• If K2000 is added to surfactants, the temperature is typically between 50°C and 60°C, with a pH range of 7.5 to 8.5.
• Due to the wide variation in ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of preservatives, we strongly recommend confirming the efficacy and stability of K2000 before production.
