Features and Benefits:

Usage Recommendations
SY-PXP is recommended for use in rinse-off and leave-on personal care formulations at a concentration of 0.25~1.0%, with an applicable pH range of 4-8. Shampoos, liquid soaps, and creams are recommended at 0.3%~0.7%. For products that are more difficult to preserve or emulsions with nonionic surfactants, the effective dosage should reach 1.0%
- During production, SY-PXP can be added to the aqueous or lipid phase. Heating (up to 60°C) can enhance its solubility in water. Alternatively, it can be dissolved in a suitable solvent such as propylene glycol before being added to water, but the final concentration must be confirmed to be below its solubility in water.
- For shampoos, liquid soaps, and creams, the recommended dosage is 0.3%~0.7%. For products that are more difficult to preserve or emulsions with nonionic surfactants, the effective dosage should reach 1.0%.
- Due to the wide variation in ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of preservatives, we strongly recommend verifying the efficacy and stability of SY-PXP before production.
