Characteristics and Efficacy:

Broad-spectrum bactericide, strongly inhibits Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and yeast

Low usage concentration, safe and economical, long shelf life

Formaldehyde-free preservative, low irritation

Chemically inert, compatible with various surfactants, proteins, and most cosmetic ingredients. Can be used alone or in combination with other products for better preservative effects. Can be compounded with many bactericides.

Recommended usage: 0.2%~0.5%, safe for use

pH usage range: 4~8, can be added at high temperatures if needed (≤80℃)

Widely used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food preservation

Usage Recommendations      

Recommended usage of parabens is 0.2%~0.5%, with mixed esters up to 0.8%.

Parabens should be the last ingredient added to the formulation, preferably at a temperature ≤60℃. Due to the wide variation in ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of preservatives, we strongly recommend verifying the efficacy and stability of parabens before production.
