Characteristics and Efficacy

Usage Recommendations      

  Liquid Germall-2 (Plus) composite preservative is recommended for use in rinse-off and leave-on personal care formulations at a concentration of 0.25~1.0%, with an applicable pH range of 3~8.

• This product is compatible with all components in cosmetics and is not affected by proteins, various surfactants, or active additives.
• Both Germall-2 powder preservative and IPBC exhibit excellent antibacterial capabilities. Liquid Germall-2 (Plus) composite preservative is mild with low irritation, making it suitable for infant skincare products.
• Liquid Germall-2 (Plus) composite preservative should be added as the final step in the process within a pH range of 3~8 and at temperatures below 50°C. Due to the wide variation in ingredients and formulations of personal care products, which may affect the efficacy of the preservative, we strongly recommend verifying the efficacy and stability of Liquid Germall-2 (Plus) composite preservative before production.
