Nursing Station Equipment:

Medical Host: This is the core device at the nursing station, used to receive and process call information from patient rooms, enable two-way intercom with bedside terminals, etc. It generally features a large display screen and touch operation functions, making it convenient for nurses to quickly view call information and perform operations. For example, nurses can quickly respond to patient calls via touch buttons on the host and engage in clear voice communication with patients.

Electronic Information Board: Can display real-time basic information of patients in the ward, such as name, bed number, nursing level, and medical condition, helping nurses quickly understand the overall situation of patients to arrange nursing work efficiently.

Information Display Board: Used to publish hospital notices, announcements, nursing tips, and other information, making it convenient for medical staff to stay updated on hospital-related developments and work arrangements.

Wireless Watch Receiver: When nurses leave the nursing station, they can wear a wireless watch receiver to receive patient call information anytime and anywhere, respond promptly to patient needs, and avoid missing important calls.

Ward Equipment:

Ward Door Station: Installed at the entrance of the ward, it can display information about the patient in the ward, as well as details and photos of the responsible doctor and nurse, making it convenient for medical staff to quickly understand the basic situation of the ward. It also features functions such as calling the nursing station and requesting assistance.

Bedside Terminal: Placed at the patient's bedside for patient use. Patients can use the bedside terminal to call the nursing station, communicate with nurses via intercom, and inquire about their medical information. Some bedside terminals also include entertainment functions, such as playing music or videos, to help alleviate patient anxiety.

Emergency Bathroom Button: Installed in the bathroom, it allows patients to press the emergency button to send a distress signal to the nursing station in case of an emergency.

Nursing Indicators: Used to indicate the patient's nursing level, special care needs, and other information, making it convenient for medical staff to provide targeted nursing care.

Infusion Alarm: When abnormalities occur during a patient's infusion, such as completion of infusion, too fast or too slow infusion speed, the infusion alarm will automatically sound an alert to remind medical staff to take timely action.

Corridor Equipment:

Corridor Display Screen: Installed in public areas such as corridors, it can display call information from various wards and patient emergencies, enabling medical staff to promptly understand and address situations.

Three-Color Door Light: Installed at the entrance of the ward, it displays the status of the ward through different colors, such as green for normal, yellow for a general call, and red for an emergency call, making it easy for medical staff to quickly identify the situation.

Functional Implementation:

Call and Intercom Function:

When patients need assistance, they can send a call signal to the nursing station via the bedside terminal or the emergency bathroom button. Upon receiving the call information, the medical host at the nursing station will emit sound and light alerts. Nurses can then engage in two-way intercom with the patient through the host to understand the patient's needs and provide appropriate assistance. Doctors can also communicate with the nursing station or patients via the doctor host, facilitating collaborative work between medical staff. For example, if a doctor notices a change in a patient's condition during rounds, they can promptly notify the nurse via the intercom system to take appropriate action.

Information Display and Query Function

The bedside terminal and nursing station host can display the patient's basic information, medical records, doctor's orders, etc., making it convenient for medical staff to stay informed about the patient's condition and treatment progress. Patients can use the bedside terminal to inquire about their medical expenses, examination reports, treatment schedules, and other information, enhancing their healthcare experience.

Broadcast Function

The hospital can use the medical intercom system to broadcast announcements hospital-wide or in specific areas, such as notifying patients about meal times, conducting health education, or issuing emergency notices.

Access Control Function
Integrated with the access control system, medical staff can unlock ward doors using methods such as card swiping or passwords, ensuring the security and privacy of the ward. The system can also record the times of door access, facilitating hospital management and monitoring.

Data Statistics and Analysis Function:

The system can record data such as patient call information, medical staff response times, and handling results, enabling the hospital to perform statistical analysis, understand the status of nursing work, identify existing issues, and make timely improvements.
