PC bonding TPE adhesive effect can tear the material body
I. Product Introduction:
Shang Hao Jia J-942 is a one-component, room temperature curing, low-whitening instant adhesive suitable for self-adhesion or mutual adhesion of silicone rubber and plastics (such as ABS, wood, acrylic, etc.), especially for TPE and bakelite materials with excellent bonding strength. It performs outstandingly in bonding difficult-to-adhere materials like nylon, rubber, and soft plastic. For silicone rubber bonding TPE and TPU bonding PC, when used in conjunction with our company's SP-1 series primer on silicone rubber and PA surfaces, followed by adhesive 942, it can achieve the destructive strength of silicone rubber and thermoplastic elastomer.
II. Characteristics
Shang Hao Jia 942 is a one-component strong adhesive, specifically designed for special difficult-to-adhere materials like TPE and other thermoplastic elastomers. It is suitable for silicone rubber bonding TPR, silicone rubber bonding PP adhesive, and TPV adhesive.
III. Usage Method:
1. Remove surface dirt, rust, oil, mold release agent, etc., from the bonding parts. Clean with a clean cloth if necessary.
2. Apply the primer (adhesive promoter) to the silicone rubber or thermoplastic elastomer surface. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes until the primer dries. Apply the adhesive to the bonding surface, then press the other part firmly for a few seconds.
3. The bonded parts usually set in about 60 seconds. Do not separate or move the parts during this time, as it may affect the bonding strength.
4. The amount of adhesive should form a thin film after bonding. Too little adhesive will result in insufficient strength, while too much will slow down curing and cause severe whitening.
