Silicone adhesive for EVA

Silicone to EVA adhesive, TPU adhesive. For small areas, Shang Hao Jia 942 adhesive is recommended.

I. Product Introduction:

Shang Hao Jia J-942 is a one-component, room temperature curing, low-whitening instant adhesive suitable for self-adhesion or mutual adhesion of silicone rubber with EVA and TPU. It offers excellent bonding strength particularly for materials like EVA, bakelite, and TPU.

II. Characteristics

Can bond silicone rubber, plastics, and hardware.

III. Usage Method:

1. Remove surface contaminants, rust, oil, mold release agents, etc., from the bonding parts. Clean with a dry cloth if necessary.

2. Apply a primer (adhesive promoter) to the surface of the silicone rubber or thermoplastic elastomer. Allow it to sit for 1-2 minutes until the primer is completely dry. Apply the adhesive to the bonding surface, then press the other part firmly for several seconds.

3. The bonded parts typically set in about 60 seconds. Do not separate or move the parts during this time, as it may affect the bond strength.

4. The amount of adhesive should be sufficient to form a thin film after bonding. Too little adhesive results in weak bonding, while too much adhesive slows curing and causes significant whitening.
