Due to the superplasticity of nano-alumina, it overcomes the limitation of low-temperature brittleness, thereby expanding its application range. Notably, nano-alumina-silicon carbide nanocomposites exhibit significant improvements, with flexural strength increasing from 300-400 MPa in single-phase alumina ceramics to 1 GPa, and fracture toughness improving by over 40%.

Adding nano-alumina to ceramic substrates not only enhances sintering performance but also significantly improves the thermal stability of alumina substrate materials.

The addition of nano-alumina can increase thermal stability by 2-3 times and flatness by 1.5 times. Our company's specialized nano-alumina for ceramics features high purity, small particle size, and excellent dispersibility, making it widely applicable in various ceramics.

During the extrusion molding of powders, nano-α-Al₂O₃ fills the pores of micron-sized alumina, reducing pore size. Increased molding pressure decreases the number of pores, thereby enhancing the density of the green ceramic body and improving the density and mechanical properties of sintered alumina ceramics. The addition of nano-α-Al₂O₃ increases sintering activity, aiding in lowering the sintering temperature. At a sintering temperature of 1450°C, both flexural strength and fracture toughness reach optimal values. A small amount of nano-α-Al₂O₃ addition significantly enhances the material's mechanical properties. For alumina ceramics sintered at 1450°C, with a 10% addition, the flexural strength is 415 MPa, and the fracture toughness is 4.1 MPa·m¹/².
