Measurement Interface

Height Measurement

NovatorFully Automatic 2.5D Image Measuring Instrument is equipped with three sensor configurations: (1) Touch trigger probe; (2) Point laser (laser coaxial displacement sensor); (3) Triangular laser, enabling precise measurement of part height dimensions.

1. Contact Measurement

The combination of image measuring instrument and touch trigger probe is equivalent to a small coordinate measuring machine, also known as a composite image measuring instrument. At points where height measurement is required, the probe captures elements (points or surfaces), and then the Z-axis auto-focus function in the image measuring software is used to measure the height.

2. Non-Contact Measurement

By integrating point laser (laser coaxial displacement sensor) and triangular laser sensor configurations, point laser contour scanning measurement and line laser 3D scanning imaging are used for height measurement and flatness measurement, applicable to mirror and smooth inclined surfaces; or using the Z-axis auto-focus function in the image measuring software to measure height. This method reduces human error, ensuring consistent results regardless of the operator, making it very simple and convenient.

Flatness Measurement

When measuring flatness, the object to be measured can be placed on the worktable of the 2D image measuring instrument. Using optical magnification lenses and image processing software, the height differences on the object's surface are detected, and the flatness parameters of the surface are calculated. By comparing with standard samples, it can be determined whether the object's surface meets the specified flatness requirements. It should be noted that when measuring flatness with a 2D image measuring instrument, appropriate optical magnification and image processing algorithms must be selected to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurement results.

3D Topography Measurement

Equipped with a high-precision line scan laser probe, it performs non-contact 3D contour scanning imaging, suppressing multiple reflections, and enabling rapid and precise batch measurement of dimensions. Through 3D imaging views,微小 features of product topography can be observed, and 2D and 3D images can be output and saved in real time, supporting 2D and 3D product dimension measurement.
