Measurement functions and indices. The SP60 provides values and differences for the following color metrics: L*a*b, △L*△a*△b, L*C*h°, △L*△C*△H*, △E*ab, △ECIE94, and XYZ. Includes ASTM E313-98 whiteness and yellowness indices.

Opacity, color strength, and metamerism. The SP60 can measure opacity and three types of color strength (apparent, chromatic, and tristimulus). Additionally, the SP60 features a 555 metamerism index function, which aids in color quality control for products like plastics, coatings, or textiles.

Effect of texture and gloss. The SP60 simultaneously measures data including specular reflection (true color) and excluding specular reflection (surface color), helping analyze the impact of sample surface structure on color.

Comfortable ergonomic design. Wrist strap combined with a handheld body design ensures comfortable and accurate use. The reversible target baseplate enhances measurement flexibility.
