Product Introduction
Composed of a light source, optical system, detection system, and microcomputer data processing and display system. The whiteness of an ideal surface with a spectral diffuse reflectance ratio of 1 is defined as 100, while the whiteness of a black surface with a spectral diffuse reflectance ratio of zero is defined as 0.
This instrument is designed in accordance with the standard light source and measurement conditions specified by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE). It undergoes strict testing and debugging and complies with the enterprise standard Q/TDKY02-2004. It is applicable to national standards such as GB2913, GB5950, GB8940.1, GB12097, and GB13025.2.
Testing Principle
The instrument utilizes the principle of photoelectric conversion and employs an analog-to-digital conversion circuit. It measures the radiant luminance energy value of the white reflection from the sample surface, processes the signal through amplification, A/D conversion, and data processing, and finally displays the corresponding whiteness value.
Main Applications
This instrument can be widely used for whiteness measurement in textiles and dyeing, paints and coatings, chemical building materials, paper and cardboard, plastic products, white cement, ceramics, enamel, kaolin, talcum powder, starch, flour, salt, detergents, cosmetics, and other materials. The opacity of paper can be calculated through measurement.
1. Measure the blue light diffuse reflectance factor (r457) of the sample, referred to as "blue light whiteness r457."
2. Determine whether the sample contains fluorescent brighteners and measure the fluorescent whiteness value generated by fluorescence emission, referred to as "fluorescent brightening degree F" or "brightening degree F."
