BWTY-205Z Series Explosion-Proof Temperature Gauge

1. Overview

The BWTY series temperature gauge is a pointer-type instrument specifically designed for motor temperature measurement. It features a lightweight stainless steel housing with an aesthetically pleasing and compact design. The elastic element is made of imported materials, ensuring high accuracy, excellent reliability, and stable performance. It is an ideal electromechanical integrated temperature measurement instrument. The BWTY series explosion-proof temperature gauge is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB3836.1-2010 and GB3836.2-2010 standards as an explosion-proof product. It is specifically used in mixed gas environments other than coal mines and can measure the temperature of bearings, bushings of explosion-proof motors or other mechanical products, as well as pipeline or container media. It is widely used in flammable and explosive environments such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, and steelmaking industries.

Explosion-proof marking: ExdⅡCT4-T6.

8. Installation and Wiring

a. When installing the gauge, check whether the explosion-proof marking on the nameplate matches the installation environment;

b. The connecting wires should be copper signal cables with a cross-sectional area not less than 0.2 square millimeters;

c. Open the gauge terminal box, use a wrench to loosen the compression nut of the cable entry device, firmly connect the cable to the terminal block (or terminal) in the terminal box, then install the terminal box and tighten the four corner screws;

d. The grounding screw on the gauge must be reliably grounded with a grounding wire;

e. During installation, the signal transmission lines should be fixed with clamps at intervals not exceeding 300mm. If the signal transmission line is too long, it can be coiled in a suitable location. Avoid random placement and keep it away from heat-generating equipment;

f. After use, the gauge should be calibrated once a year. If conditions permit, it can be calibrated by the user or returned to the manufacturer for calibration;

g. If the sealing ring inside the entry device ages or deteriorates, it should be replaced promptly;

h. The minimum outer diameter of the cable used by the customer is φ6. It is recommended to choose between φ6 and φ12;
