How to Choose Wire Rope Clips for Lifting Machinery and Hoisting Equipment?

1. "Wire Rope Clips (National Standard Forged)" are suitable for more critical load-bearing environments. Recommended industries: cranes, pile drivers, mining, metallurgical equipment, oil drilling rigs, port machinery, elevators, and other hoisting machinery. According to Standard GB/T 5976—2006 "Wire Rope Clips" Article 4.2.4, when rope clips are used on cranes, forged rope clips are recommended. (Reference: GB/T5976-2006 Wire Rope Clips).

2. When selecting wire rope clips, first identify the lay direction of the wire rope, i.e., right lay and left lay. According to the standard: the surface of the rope clip groove should match the lay direction of the wire rope surface. Therefore, wire rope clips are also divided into left clips and right clips and should be selected appropriately; they are not interchangeable.
