Mining washing and dedusting equipment cyclone dust collector

      The cyclone dust collector consists of an inlet pipe, exhaust pipe, cylindrical body, conical body, and dust hopper. It features a simple structure, is easy to manufacture, install, and maintain, with low equipment investment and operating costs. It is used to separate solid and liquid particles from gas streams or solid particles from liquids. Under normal operating conditions, the centrifugal force acting on the particles is 5 to 2500 times that of gravity, making the cyclone dust collector significantly more efficient than gravity settling chambers. Based on this principle, a cyclone dust removal device with over 90% efficiency has been successfully developed.

      Among mechanical dust collectors, the cyclone type is highly efficient. It is suitable for removing non-sticky and non-fibrous dust and is mostly used to remove particles larger than 5μm. A multi-tube cyclone dust collector unit in parallel can achieve 80–85% efficiency for particles as small as 3μm.

      Cyclone dust collectors constructed from special metals or ceramic materials resistant to high temperatures, abrasion, and corrosion can operate at temperatures up to 1000°C and pressures up to 500×10⁵ Pa.

      From technical and economic perspectives, the pressure loss of a cyclone dust collector is generally controlled within the range of 500–2000 Pa. Therefore, it is classified as a medium-efficiency dust collector and can be used for purifying high-temperature flue gases. It is widely applied in boiler flue gas dust removal, multi-stage dust removal, and pre-dust removal.
