1、Selection of Bromine Level Gauge

 Bromine, due to its strong corrosiveness to both organic and inorganic substances, often requires weighing and empirical calculations for level measurement in bromine storage tanks, which is very cumbersome. Traditional instruments cannot be used for level measurement and monitoring of this medium, resulting in the inability to monitor tank levels in real-time and posing significant safety risks. Since bromine storage tanks are internally lined with enamel for corrosion resistance and cannot be drilled for traditional instruments, Jinan Tuke Electronics developed and produced the TK-LW external mount ultrasonic level gauge. This gauge uses a non-contact measurement method with externally mounted sensors, achieving true isolation measurement. Combined with the company's proprietary technologies in digital signal processing, pattern recognition, and database handling, it overcomes the effects of tank wall and external interference. It also features automatic parameter calibration, making the instrument unaffected by changes in medium temperature and composition. It allows installation without drilling, hot work, or production shutdown, making it particularly suitable for precise level measurement in hazardous chemical tank areas. The instrument can output (4-20)mA standard communication signals to the DCS automation control system.

5、Measurement Principle

 The TK-LW external mount level gauge uses the sonar (ultrasonic) echo ranging principle. The measurement probe is attached to the external wall of the tank bottom, transmitting and receiving ultrasonic echo signals. Ultrasonic waves penetrate the container wall and form echoes in the liquid to achieve distance measurement.
