Release Agent
Water-based release agent: Mainly composed of imported polymer materials, various additives, super-hydrophilic leveling agents, and other raw materials. It is odorless, non-polluting, and leaves the product surface smooth and flat without affecting subsequent coloring or other processing techniques. It does not impact the adhesion or appearance of the finished product. It facilitates easy demolding without damaging the template and is widely used for release and parting treatment of aluminum molds, steel molds, wooden molds, silicone molds, glass, ceramic molds, and plastic molds. The water-based release agent can be diluted 3-10 times with water. It is suitable for anti-stick treatment on the surfaces of various cement product molds, ensuring easy demolding without harming the mold. It is also used for anti-stick and isolation treatment on gypsum mold surfaces, surface treatment of magnesium oxide product molds, lime product molds, and other water-diluted or water-mixed product surfaces. The water-based release agent offers excellent demolding effects and parting isolation performance. It has low comprehensive cost, leaves no honeycomb pores or grease on the surface, is colorless and non-yellowing, and has no irritating odor.
Performance Requirements
The role of the water-based release agent is to smoothly separate the cured and formed product from the mold, obtaining a smooth and flat product while ensuring the mold can be used multiple times. Specific performance requirements are as follows:
1. Demolding performance (lubricity). Forms a uniform film and ensures dimensional accuracy for complex-shaped molded objects.
2. Good continuous demolding performance.
3. The appearance of the molded object is smooth and aesthetically pleasing, without attracting dust due to the application of a sticky release agent.
4. Excellent secondary processability. When the release agent transfers to the molded object, it has no adverse effects on processes such as electroplating, hot pressing, printing, coating, or adhesion.
5. Easy application.
6. Heat resistance.
7. Stain resistance.
8. Good molding performance and high production efficiency.
9. Good stability. Physically and chemically stable when used with compounding agents and materials.
10. Non-flammability, low odor, low toxicity.
Main Functions:
1. Reduce contact area: Forms a coating between the mold and the product, reducing the contact area and preventing adhesion.
2. Improve separation: Enhances the separation between the mold and the product, reducing the possibility of material residue on the mold and ensuring product quality and production efficiency.
Precautions for Using Water-Based Release Agent
1. Dilute with water (dilution ratio 3-10 times as appropriate) and mix evenly. The dilution ratio can be adjusted according to on-site needs. Use the diluted mixture as soon as possible.
2. Apply using a spray gun or roller brush. Allow the mold coated with the release agent to dry completely before pouring concrete.
3. Clean the surface of the template or mold before application.
4. Store at room temperature, protect from freezing and direct sunlight. Seal tightly after opening.
5. Avoid construction during rain. If washed away by rain immediately after application, reapply before proceeding.
6. Packaging specification: 50KG drum.
Technical Indicators of Water-Based Release Agent:
1. Appearance: Transparent white homogeneous liquid;
2. Solid content: ±20%;
3. pH value: 7-8;
4. Stability: No stratification, no breaking, no caking.
Usage Method of Water-Based Release Agent:
Spray or brush directly onto the surface of the item to be demolded. The recommended dilution ratio for the water-based release agent is 3-10 times. The specific amount used should be adjusted according to the product system.
