The luminous radiation curves of LED backlights from the same batch often vary, with a shift of approximately 10 nm at their peak wavelengths. If traditional color analyzers are used to measure and adjust the white balance of such screens, the error in xy chromaticity may approach around 0.010. However, when using the CA-310, the chromaticity error under the same conditions is reduced to about 0.003, roughly one-third of the original error, significantly improving measurement accuracy and stability.
When measuring displays with LED backlights of varying peak wavelengths using the CA-310 and performing user calibration, screens with different shifts exhibit different measurement errors (deviation from the true value).
Even at an extremely low luminance of 0.005 cd/m², high-speed measurement is guaranteed.
The application of noise reduction technology enables a measurement speed of 4 times per second even at a low luminance of 0.005 cd/m². This is particularly attractive to manufacturers aiming for a high contrast ratio of 100,000:1※ (the direct effect of high contrast display is more realistic and clearer images). Additionally, when the luminance exceeds 2 cd/m², the measurement speed can reach up to 20 times per second.
