Overload ZLY500-18-VII Hardened Gear Reducer

The ZLY500-18-VII heavy-duty hard-tooth-surface gear reducer is suitable for high-power, heavy-load, and high-torque applications. In the ZLY500 hard-tooth-surface reducer model, 500 represents the final stage center distance, with an actual center distance of 855. 18 is the reduction ratio, and VII denotes the seventh assembly type, featuring a dual-input and dual-output structure. The standard housing is made of HT200 material. To increase torque, a welded steel plate housing can also be provided based on customer requirements. The welded housing has thicker steel plates, can withstand greater torque, and is less prone to cracking.

The ZLY500 gear reducer is a two-stage parallel shaft reducer. The gears are made of 20CrMnMo forgings, offering high strength, a more compact structure, and greater power. After carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding, the tooth surface precision reaches grade 6, with a hardness of 62 HRC. The product parameters are optimized in design, and the main internal gears and pinions have good interchangeability. Our company uses high-quality bearings, imported oil seals, and conducts vacuum testing. The feet are thick and sturdy, ensuring firm installation. The gears mesh well, providing smooth transmission, low noise, and a long service life.

Usage precautions: After 200–300 hours of operation, the oil should be changed. In subsequent use, the oil quality should be regularly inspected. Oil contaminated with impurities or deteriorated must be replaced promptly. Generally, for reducers operating continuously over long periods, replace the oil every 5,000 hours of operation or once a year. For reducers that have been idle for a long time, replace the oil before restarting. The reducer should be filled with oil of the same brand as originally used. Do not mix oils of different brands. Oils of the same brand but different viscosities may be mixed.

During operation, if the oil temperature rise exceeds 80°C, the oil sump temperature exceeds 100°C, or abnormal noise occurs, stop using the reducer, investigate the cause, resolve the issue, and replace the lubricating oil before resuming operation.
