QY4D560-224-4H Low-Speed Hardened Gear Reducer for Shipyard Cranes

QY4D560-224-4H hardened gear reducer, 4-stage transmission, H spline output shaft, generally used in low-speed and high-torque transmission equipment. It achieves speed reduction by meshing the small gear on the input shaft of the reducer with the large gear on the output shaft, transferring power from motors, internal combustion engines, or other high-speed operating sources. Ordinary reducers also use several pairs of gears based on the same principle to achieve the desired reduction effect. The ratio of the number of teeth between the large and small gears is the transmission ratio.

Suitable for various operating mechanisms of cranes, such as lifting equipment in port machinery, shipyard cranes, steel plant gantry cranes, and other heavy-duty lifting equipment, with high lifting loads.

Performance characteristics:

1. Gears are made of low-carbon alloy steel, carburized, and quenched, with a gear accuracy of grade 6.

2. High precision, high efficiency, smooth transmission, low noise, smaller size and lighter weight compared to tempered gear reducers, with high load capacity and reliability.

3. Welded housing structure, installation forms include three-point mounting and foot mounting.

4. Output shaft types: flat key, involute spline, gear shaft end, and hollow shaft.

5. Generally uses oil bath lubrication and natural cooling; vertical reducers use circulating oil lubrication.

6. Equipped with rolling bearings.

7. Horizontal installation uses oil bath splash lubrication and natural lubrication. Lubricating oil options include L-CKC100, L-CKC150, or L-CKC220. When the ambient temperature is below 0°C, users should have a lubricating oil heating device.

Precautions:

1. After 200–300 hours of operation, the oil should be changed. In subsequent use, regularly check the oil quality. Oil contaminated with impurities or deteriorated must be replaced promptly. Generally, for reducers operating continuously for long periods, replace the oil every 5,000 hours or annually. For reducers that have been idle for a long time, replace the oil before restarting. The reducer should be filled with oil of the same brand as originally used. Do not mix oils of different brands. Oils of the same brand but different viscosities may be mixed.

2. When changing the oil, wait until the reducer has cooled down to a non-combustible state but is still warm, as the oil viscosity increases when fully cooled, making drainage difficult. Note: Disconnect the transmission power supply to prevent accidental energization.
