The NAD800-8 planetary gearbox is a single-stage planetary gear reducer, where 800 denotes the specification and 8 represents the reduction ratio. Its main components include the planetary gears, sun gear, internal ring gear, and planet carrier. The primary parts are made from low-carbon alloy steel forgings, processed through carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding, resulting in high precision and hardness levels. The gear teeth engage via spur connections. The internal ring gear is made of 42CrMo, subjected to quenching and tempering, and shaped by gear shaping. Three planetary gears are paired with one planet carrier, with the internal teeth meshing with the sun gear and the external teeth engaging with the internal ring gear. Multiple teeth engage simultaneously, featuring power splitting and the unique advantage of multi-tooth engagement.

During installation, striking with tools such as hammers is strictly prohibited to prevent excessive axial or radial forces from damaging bearings or gears. The installation bolts must be tightened before the force bolts are secured.
