NCD560-140 High Torque Planetary Gear Reducer

The NCD560-140 planetary gear reducer features three-stage transmission, horizontal installation, and coaxial structure. Its main internal components include: planetary gears, internal gear ring, planet carrier, and sun gear. Three planetary gears are fixed on a planet carrier, engaging internally with the sun gear and externally with the internal gear ring. With straight tooth engagement, multiple tooth pairs are in contact simultaneously during operation, resulting in high overlap, smooth operation, strong overload capacity, low vibration and noise. Models of various specifications offer low noise, reliable performance, and long service life.

The NCD planetary gear reducer is an upgraded version of the NGW planetary reducer. It features a change in housing material, adopting a stronger ductile iron housing, thickened internal gear ring, higher torque capacity, greater strength, and more compact structure.

The planetary gear reducer is installed using foot mounting and should be securely fixed on a stable and level foundation or base. Both shaft ends are connected to the motor and equipment power shaft via couplings. During connection, concentricity must be maintained, and alignment of the transmission center axis should be emphasized, with errors not exceeding the compensation capacity of the coupling used. Good alignment extends service life and achieves ideal transmission efficiency.

Generally, oil bath lubrication with natural cooling is used. For larger models above 560, a circulating oil pump is required for lubrication to ensure bearing lubrication, reduce friction and noise, and lower temperature.
