At the same time, the ribs on the rotors cause the compound to move axially along the rotors, playing a stirring and mixing role, making the compounding agents mix evenly in the compound. The compounding agents are repeatedly sheared and broken, the compound repeatedly deforms and recovers, and the continuous stirring of the rotor ribs disperses the compounding agents evenly in the compound and achieves a certain degree of dispersion. Since the shear action on the compound during mixing in the internal mixer is much greater than that in the open mill, and the rubber mixing temperature is higher, the efficiency of the internal mixer is much higher than that of the open mill.
