Properties:: KY-405 is a white crystalline powder or granules, soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, and toluene, slightly soluble in gasoline, ethanol, and methanol, insoluble in water, with a melting point greater than 95°C.
Applications:: Antioxidant KY-405 is an odorless, non-toxic, light-colored antioxidant. Its antioxidant effect is similar to Uniroya's (USA) Naugard 445 and Ouchi's (Japan) Nocrac CD. This product is widely used in various elastomers, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl chloride plastic masterbatches. It can serve as an antioxidant for polyurethane foam plastics, rubber wires, cables, food packaging materials, and adhesives. Especially in neoprene colored cable sheaths, this product exhibits significant heat resistance, light resistance, and anti-aging properties. It acts as a light aging inhibitor in polyether and its foam plastics. It can also be used as a lubricant antioxidant. It is particularly suitable for protecting neoprene, acrylic rubber, and polyether polyols from aging caused by high heat and light. It also has good synergistic effects with sulfur-containing antioxidants. The typical dosage in general rubber and plastic bodies is 1-3 parts. It disperses easily in rubber compounds and has no significant impact on the vulcanization characteristics of the rubber. Due to its high molecular weight and low volatility, its antioxidant durability is significantly superior to phenolic antioxidants such as SP, 1010, and 264, making it an ideal substitute for phenolic antioxidants.
Packaging:: Kraft paper bags or paper drums, 25Kg/bag (drum).
Storage:: Should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Packaged products should be kept away from direct sunlight.
