Groove-faced ceramic panel curtain wall

   Terracotta panels are curtain wall materials made from natural clay, formed through high-pressure extrusion, low-temperature drying, and firing at 1200°C-1250°C. They feature environmental friendliness, no radiation, natural color, and UV resistance. Structurally, they can be categorized into single-layer panels, double-layer hollow panels, and louvers, with surface finishes including natural and sand-textured effects. The production utilizes inorganic materials such as urban construction waste soil. After forming, they undergo laser quality inspection, and the finished products can be custom-cut. This material was developed in the 1980s by German Professor Thomas Herzog based on terracotta tile hanging technology, with its first application in Munich in 1985. China began independent production and research in 2006, achieving mature product supply by 2008. Domestic products have improved installation systems for typhoon and seismic environments, incorporating flexible gaskets for vibration isolation, EPDM seals for leakage prevention, and an open-closed waterproof system, with seismic resistance exceeding intensity 10.
