Real-Time Spectrum Analysis (RTSA)
The SHA860A offers a maximum real-time analysis bandwidth of 110 MHz, capable of capturing signals as short as 3.51 µs with 100% POI. In RTSA mode, the analyzer seamlessly performs FFT calculations and spectrum triggering within the real-time analysis bandwidth, making it highly effective for capturing transient signals and analyzing signal frequency, characteristics, duration, amplitude variations, and more. It is widely used in spectrum monitoring, frequency-hopping radio testing, oscillator development, and other fields.
5G NR OTA Measurement
The SHA860A's 5G NR OTA measurement function enables over-the-air (OTA) testing of multiple cells, providing demodulation metrics such as Physical Cell ID, Beam Number, GSCN, SS-RSRP, SS-RSRQ, SS-SINR, SS-RSSI, and EVM.
This function tests signal and transmitter quality by collecting and analyzing data across different frequencies, frequency bands, operating modes, and types of transmitting antenna systems. It identifies abnormal conditions based on measurements from various receivers, enabling fault localization and tracking. This facilitates on-site testing and deployment of 5G base stations by engineers, effectively improving wireless network performance and user experience.
LTE FDD/TDD OTA Measurement
The SHA860A's LTE OTA measurement function is comprehensive, providing demodulation metrics such as PCI, Sector ID, Cell Group, Frequency Error, Time Offset, Synchronization Status, Power (PSS/SSS/CRS/PBCH), EVM (PSS/SSS/CRS/PBCH), Average EVM, and Peak EVM, with constellation diagrams displaying LTE signal quality.
This function demodulates cells by measuring and analyzing signal quality, channel quality, and interference intensity across different cells, identifying the most severe signal interference between cells. This allows for appropriate interference coordination measures to enhance cell communication quality and user experience.
Pulse Parameter Analysis
The SHA860A pulse analysis function supports up to 10,001 measurement points, enabling power measurement, pulse characteristics, and transition characteristics analysis. It supports positive peak detection, negative peak detection, sample detection, average detection, and normal detection. This helps engineers accurately analyze and understand signal characteristics, as well as evaluate and validate RF device performance.
Indoor/Outdoor Maps
In addition to measuring the performance of 5G and LTE base stations, base station technicians need to conduct signal coverage analysis to help operators assess coverage conditions around base stations. The SHA860A's indoor/outdoor map mode assists technicians in understanding base station locations, antenna heights, and directions, providing comprehensive control over signal coverage. It easily identifies areas with poor coverage or high interference, enabling appropriate optimization measures and improving the efficiency of base station technicians.
IQ Data Acquisition
The SHA860A's IQ data acquisition function features a 300 MHz sampling rate and 100 MHz signal bandwidth. Its high precision, speed, and reliability capture analog signals input to the spectrum analyzer and convert them into spectrum data. It not only helps users record and display spectrum data but also stores data locally or on a USB drive, offering excellent flexibility.
