AFG31000 Series Arbitrary Waveform Generator Overview
Verify Output Waveforms After Connecting DUT
InstaView? technology allows direct real-time viewing of waveforms at the DUT without an oscilloscope or other equipment, saving test time and avoiding experimental errors due to impedance mismatch.
High-Fidelity Signals and Advanced Modes
Generate precise long waveforms up to 16 M points per channel in continuous mode. Variable sample clock technology ensures no waveform data loss. Upgradeable features allow advanced testing and complex waveform creation/editing at one-tenth the cost of traditional AWGs.
With optional upgrades, you can:
Expand memory to 128 M points per channel (Option MEM)
Use up to 25 input/control sequence/trigger/gate modes (Option SEQ) for loops, waits, jumps, external triggers, manual triggers, timed triggers, and SCPI commands to create flexible, complex long waveforms.
Simplified Arbitrary Waveform Creation
The built-in ARB editor ArbBuilder includes all operations for creating, editing, and transferring arbitrary waveforms without a PC or file transfers. Amplitude and offset data are stored in waveforms, so no adjustments are needed after loading standardized ARBs.
Intelligent User Interface
Learn and work faster with the large AFG touchscreen. The 9-inch screen operates like a smart device, allowing pinch-to-zoom and scrolling to easily find settings, parameters, and shortcuts for common functions.
Need More Than Two Channels?
If you need more than two waveform channels to simulate your DUT, multi-unit synchronization setups quickly sync two or more devices. On-screen wizards guide cable connections and setup in under three minutes.
