Supply of Leather Anti-Whitening Treatment Agent iHeir-FH: Preventing Leather from Whitening and Blooming - Detailed Introduction
How to Prevent Oil Bloom?
For degreasing, choose fatliquoring agents with low atomization values. For undressed leather with oil bloom, return it to the drum for degreasing, washing, and then re-dyeing and fatliquoring. For finished leather with oil bloom, use high-temperature rolling, followed by spraying with a metastable emulsion composed of water, JFC, light white oil, and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol. For oil bloom or salt bloom on leather products, use the leather anti-whitening treatment agent.
Product Introduction:
The leather anti-whitening treatment agent is a product used to treat salt bloom and oil bloom that seep out due to high or low temperature changes within the leather. It locks the salt bloom and oil bloom firmly within the leather fibers, preventing them from migrating to the surface.
Scope of Application:
The anti-whitening treatment agent can be used on genuine leather, PU, PVC, synthetic leather, silicone, rubber materials, and related products.
Practical Application Cases:
The anti-whitening treatment agent has been very successfully applied in PU and PVC fabric products. Recently, it has also been used on silicone rubber soles, effectively preventing the phenomenon of blooming.
Usage Method:
First, use a brush to clean any excess residue from the leather surface. Then, use a clean brush dipped in the anti-whitening treatment agent to apply it evenly over the areas with whitening or blooming. For some special materials, it may need to be used in combination with the anti-whitening treatment paste. The specific method depends on the actual material. You can send samples to our laboratory for testing, and we will provide a complete treatment plan.
Product Packaging:
25KG per drum, customizable packaging based on actual needs.
Shelf Life:
One year when sealed properly.
What is Leather Oil Bloom?
Leather or leather shoes experiencing oil bloom is similar to whitening, saltpeter efflorescence, or salt bloom. This occurs when leather materials undergo a dynamic process of exhaling and inhaling moisture during storage or use. Water vapor molecules carry saturated fatty acids and their esters from the gaps in collagen fibers to the leather surface, where they condense into white spots of oil bloom. Salt bloom: During processing, a step involves adding salt. If excess salt is not thoroughly cleaned, it can seep to the surface, forming a grayish-white frost-like substance, known as salt bloom, which appears as a white layer on the leather surface. Free samples are provided for testing.
