Steel-lined PTFE Storage Tanks The production process of PTFE storage tanks is as follows:

1. The tank body is formed according to the drawings.
2. Sandblasting treatment is performed on the inner surface of the completed steel-lined PTFE storage tank. (Note: Sandblasting must be done using iron sand.)
3. Sodium treatment is applied twice to the raw PTFE sheets.
4. Apply adhesive evenly twice on both the PTFE sheet and the storage tank surface.
5. PTFE sheet application: When applying the sheet, heat the PTFE sheet and use professional tools to manually apply force, smoothly covering the equipment surface with the PTFE sheet.
6. Trim the joint between two PTFE sheets into a V-shaped groove.
7. Weld the groove using PFA round strips, then level the welded strips with the PTFE sheet, and weld again using wide PFA welding strips.
8. Conduct an overall inspection of the equipment using a 15kV spark tester.

1. Design according to the equipment's temperature, medium, and working pressure, following chemical equipment standards, and select the thickness of the steel plate.
2. The diameter of the steel body is generally below 3000-4500mm, and the length of the steel body is between 1000-8000mm, which also facilitates transportation.
3. The PTFE lining is determined based on the equipment's working conditions: If the internal pressure is positive pressure or atmospheric pressure (no negative pressure), loose-lined PTFE technology can be used. If there is negative pressure inside the equipment, tight-lined PTFE technology is adopted, where the lining layer is tightly bonded to the steel wall.
4. Steel-lined PTFE Storage Tanks The operating temperature of PTFE-lined equipment should be controlled at 150°C. Special circumstances should be specified in advance.

5. PTFE lining sheets can be selected with a thickness of 3-5mm.
6. Welding uses PTFE welding rods or strips with a thickness of 4-14mm.
7. For PO, PE, PP steel-lined plastic storage tanks, steel mesh is welded first, followed by hot rotational molding.

Working temperature of PTFE storage tank medium: -100°C to 250°C
Working pressure of PTFE storage tank medium: Positive pressure 0.6MPa to 2.5MPa, negative pressure at room temperature is 70kPa.
It resists corrosion from nitric acid and aqua regia and can operate long-term at temperatures of 230°C to 250°C.
