As the name suggests, a steel-lined PTFE storage tank is a steel body entirely lined with a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It features high-temperature resistance and strong resistance to both positive and negative pressures. Except for naphthylamine solutions and liquid alkali metals, it resists all corrosive environments and is known as the "King of Plastics." However, its price is relatively higher compared to other lining materials. Steel-lined polyethylene is low-cost and also resists corrosion from hydrofluoric acid at any concentration, but it is not resistant to organic solvents and strongly oxidizing solvents. Its operating temperature and corrosion resistance are far inferior to PTFE. The PTFE sheets used by our company are sourced from Shandong Dongyue, a well-known domestic manufacturer. The process involves first processing PTFE powder into PTFE sheets through a special technique, then machining them into 3-5mm thick PTFE sheets. After a series of processing steps, the final product is formed.

Domestically, 3mm PTFE sheets are generally selected. These sheets are bonded to the metal surface of storage tanks or acid-alkali tanks using adhesive. The adhesive has strong bonding strength and cannot be separated by external force.
