Control System Principle Overview
1. System Equipment Control and Management
Due to the multi-variable, nonlinear, and fluctuating cooling/heating load characteristics of central air conditioning systems, operational conditions can easily deviate from optimal efficiency, reducing the heat conversion efficiency of chillers. To improve energy efficiency while maintaining comfort, comprehensive energy efficiency tracking control and management of chillers, water circulation systems, and other components are essential.
2. Chillers
Based on collected data such as supply/return water temperature, pressure, flow rate of chilled/cooling water cycles, and ambient temperature/humidity, the central air conditioning intelligent controller calculates the actual system load and dynamically adjusts the number of operating chillers and temperature settings.
3. Water Circulation System
When ambient temperature/humidity, system process parameters, or cooling/heating loads at terminal units change, the water circulation system parameters adjust accordingly. The intelligent controller optimizes chiller efficiency based on load values, formulates optimal control strategies, and dynamically regulates chilled water flow via the chilled water pump efficiency controller, cooling water flow via the cooling water pump efficiency controller, hot water flow via the hot water pump efficiency controller, and the number of operating cooling tower fans via the cooling tower fan efficiency controller to meet user demands and maintain optimal chiller COP.
4. Auxiliary Equipment Efficiency Controller collects operational and fault status signals from auxiliary devices (e.g., water replenishment units, water softeners, water treatment instruments) for centralized control and management.
5. Energy Efficiency Management
On the energy management computer, centralized control and energy efficiency management of chillers, water circulation systems, and related electric regulating valves are implemented. Smart metering units enable electricity statistics for the air conditioning system, transmitted via an energy bus to management computers or other energy statistics management systems for operational parameter and energy report management.

2. The system software adopts a B/S architecture, providing a central air conditioning energy-saving control system management platform.
