Residual Pressure System Overview:
According to the building design fire protection code, smoke prevention stairwells, fire elevator anterooms, and combined anterooms that do not have natural smoke exhaust measures should be equipped with independent mechanical pressurized air supply for smoke control.
The residual pressure monitoring system ensures that the residual pressure in evacuation passages remains effectively controlled during a fire, preventing the spread of smoke while allowing evacuees to easily open fire doors to escape, ensuring safe evacuation. It provides 24-hour real-time automatic monitoring of the residual pressure status in evacuation passages and issues alarms for abnormal pressure conditions. During a fire, the system can automatically regulate the air supply volume of the mechanical pressurized air supply system and can also be remotely controlled from the fire control center.

Main Issues Addressed by the Residual Pressure System:
If the residual pressure is too high, evacuation doors may be difficult to open, severely hindering the evacuation of the elderly and children. The residual pressure monitoring system addresses this issue.
1. When residual pressure exceeds the standard, the residual pressure monitoring system controls the opening of the pressure relief valve installed on the pressurized air supply bypass, reducing the on-site residual pressure.
2. When the residual pressure returns to the set reset value, the residual pressure monitoring system controls the closing of the pressure relief valve, maintaining the on-site residual pressure within the required range.
Residual Pressure System Working Principle:
The AZY-YZ Residual Pressure Monitor detects the on-site residual pressure and transmits the real-time residual pressure value to the TY-A-10 Residual Pressure Controller. The AZY-YK Residual Pressure Controller analyzes and judges the received residual pressure value. If the residual pressure exceeds the standard, it triggers audible and visual alarms and sends control signals to the corresponding AZY-YP bypass pressure relief valve control unit to open the pressure relief valve, with automatic reset functionality.
The AZY-YF Residual Pressure Monitoring Host receives data from all TY-A-10 Residual Pressure Controllers for centralized display and can accept fire alarm signals from the fire alarm host to start the pressurized fire fan, controlling the corresponding TY-A-10 Residual Pressure Controller based on the signal.
