ZBGX Peripheral Drive Scraper and Suction Sludge Collector
◎ Application
The ZBGX peripheral drive scraper and suction sludge collector is suitable for large, medium, and small diameter radial flow sedimentation tanks with center inlet, peripheral outlet, and center sludge discharge. It is mainly used for suction and discharge of sludge in secondary sedimentation tanks of municipal wastewater treatment plants.
◎ Structure and Working Principle
This equipment adopts peripheral drive. Wastewater flows in from the central inlet pipe, diffuses through the stabilizer tube, and uniformly radiates outward to the periphery. Suspended sludge settles and deposits at the bottom of the tank. The drive device rotates the working bridge along the periphery, driving the scraper arms and scraper blades to rotate. The scraper blades gather the sludge, which is then suctioned by the suction pipes using the static water pressure in the tank into the sludge collection trough and discharged into the central sludge hopper. The sludge is then discharged out of the tank through the central sludge discharge pipe. Surface scum is directed into the scum discharge hopper by the rotating skimming device and discharged out of the tank. The clarified water overflows into the outlet trough through the triangular weir plate and is discharged.

1. The working bridge can be semi-bridge or full-bridge type, made of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum alloy;
2. The drive device uses an axle-mounted helical gear reducer directly connected to the driving roller, offering compact structure and high mechanical efficiency;
3. The suction pipes adopt a bell-mouth design for effective sludge suction;
4. Two suction methods: self-priming and siphon (the former is commonly used);
5. Equipped with dual mechanical and electrical overload protection for safe and reliable operation;
6. Simple operation with local/remote control switch for direct device control.
